Joe is the President and CEO of AltaPACS, a Calgary-based company providing managed IT services for radiologists, and other creators and consumers of diagnostic imaging.

 

AltaPACS supports the design, implementation and operations of key diagnostic imaging systems components, including radiology information systems (RIS), picture archiving and communications systems (PACS) and voice-recognition reporting systems. AltaPACS’ core strength is the ability to integrate their internal systems with a wide variety of inbound and outbound healthcare systems, from hospital order entry systems to referring physician portals.

 

Joe has over 23 years of experience in information technology, ranging from his current role as CEO of AltaPACS to recent positions as Chief Operating Officer of a private software company and various general management positions within a large, multinational information technology company. Joe’s passion is innovation and bringing new solutions to the marketplace. Joe is active in the community as a Chairman of several not-for-profit societies, and spends his weekends coaching sports and “gigging” in a variety of musical groups.
