Please join us from 8:30 till 3:30 at one of our 20 video-conference locations across Alberta for a day-long  program of discussions about the issues facing rural Albertans and projects underway to address them. Speakers will address Education, Health Care, Rural Economic Activity, and Rural Quality of Life

This is not a conference about technology but the speakers will explain how they are using broadband internet and the Alberta SuperNet to tackle everyday issues. The closing session will explore the challenges and opportunities of developing First/Last Mile Connectivity.

Take a look at the current list of  venues  and then follow our registration instructions. And if you like, go to your local venue and use our comment feature to introduce yourself to others in your area.

Rural Broadband Access

Does Axia / Supernet have a mandate to provide rural broadband to Rural business in Alberta? David Swan Vulcan, AB

Rural Broadband Access

Telus and Bell pretty much said "we don't have to provide competitive broadband in rural Alberta". Further, Axia / Supernet has pop sites, but the cost of hookup and operation is prohibitive. Where is business access to broadband in rural Alberta? David Swan Vulcan, AB
