Virtual Conference--Wow!
What a great event this turned out to be--congratulations to Bill, Andy and all the hard-working team that put it together and to the speakers who so capably worked with the technology, small glitches and all.
The conference nicely showcased the potential for videoconferencing and I found the speakers engaged my attention, even when I thought the topic would be of absolutely NO interest to me (such as Dr. Honour's presentation on the cattle registry--there's some amazing work going on in that industry despite huge barriers, and she's an excellent speaker).
Onward, CwoB! At my site, these little tastes of a wide variety of topics seemed to whet the appetite for further in-depth sessions. We'll look forward to hearing more and I anticipate staying involved in some way.
