Hello in advance to everyone who will be at the Calgary venue. I've been on the Communities without Boundaries conference planning and organizing committee for the past few months leading up to this event - as an ABCtech board member (a joint venture with CwoB) and I'm also the founder of TechCom. This will be the second conference I've attended involving the Alberta SuperNet - the CwoB conference on Friday being my first virtual event. With the focus on our rural communities, looking forward to presentations and interactions with a great lineup of speakers and panelists.

It is my pleasure to welcome everyone who has registered at the Cybera site. I'm looking forward to a lively discussion with lots of experience from industry, government, education and health participating from Calgary. Please take a minute to introduce yourselves to each other prior to the event.

P.S. I would also like to thank Cybera for their generous assistance in hosting not only this event but all our planning meetings as well.
