This is a youth-oriented video contest, and youth includes all up to age 29 years!
Time limits:
7 seconds title screen
60 seconds main message – YOUR Minute!
(any combination of audio, video and/or data)
8 seconds credits screen
15 seconds challenge to inspire future potential actions
Format: Please make your movie in WMV; YouTube quality will be fine
All videos that avoid questionable language or unacceptable content and which meet our Terms of Use, along with full contest details, will be posted on our web site www.communitieswithoutboundaries.com
Competition videos – submit until 12:00 midnight, MDT, October 16, 2008. Be sure to identify the Rural Alberta pillar you wish to be judged in: education, health care, economic development, quality of rural life.
There will be live voting at Noon on Oct 31 at the Using Rural Connections to
Support Alberta’s Rural Development Strategy video conference. One winner per pillar (health care, education, economic development, and quality of rural life) will receive an honorarium of $250 plus be recognized on the CWB web site.
